Also, by submitting your contact information you agree to and understand the Heartland Automotive Services, Inc. policies in regard to authorizations to buy and gifts.
For all Heartland Automotive Services, Inc. Marketing Department media buys or material purchases an authorized buyer will issue a signed/dated Insertion or Purchase Order to the Vendor. A signed/dated Insertion or Purchase Order is the official notification for a vendor to being production, execute insertion, provide a service or to make shipment/delivery. Heartland Automotive Services. Inc. will not honor commitments made on any other basis.
We at Heartland Automotive Services would like to thank you for not offering favors, gifts or gratuities to our employees. While we understand the spirit in which these offers are made, it is against the Heartland Automotive Services, Inc. corporate policy to accept such gifts.
To avoid even the appearance of a conflict of interest and to demonstrate the Marketing Department’s commitment to impartiality, equal treatment and the highest standards of conduct in relation to all vendors and potential vendors of Heartland Automotive Services, Inc, the following no-gift policy shall apply:
No gifts of any kind or of any value greater than $25.00 shall be accepted, on or off the work site, by any Heartland Automotive Services, Inc. employee from any vendor or any individual acting on behalf of a vendor.
The word "gift" means any item having any cost or financial value greater than $25.00, including food or beverages, and including vendor-sponsored meals or parties. The word "vendor" means any business or commercial enterprise that currently has a contractual relationship with Heartland Automotive Services, Inc. or that may reasonably be expected to seek or to be interested in obtaining a contractual relationship with Heartland Automotive Services, Inc.
Vendors are asked respectfully not to deliver or deposit any gift either for individuals or for a particular department or office. This policy applies equally to all vendors. Any gift of any value greater than $25.00 that is received shall be returned to the giver whenever feasible and, when not feasible, shall be delivered to the office of Loss Prevention who shall see that all such items are donated to a non-profit institution not related to Heartland Automotive Services, Inc.
